What's going on in Tahrir these days?

On Wednesday, we had to walk downtown to do an errand. The downtown scene has radically changed over the months as Tahrir Square has become overrun with vendors, loiters, and the soapbox masses.

The upside of this are the beautiful graffiti murals of Mohamed Mahmoud Street, from the recent protests of the Port Said massacre. I have more photos of the murals and scenes of Tahrir Square on Flickr. Follow the photos. >>
